Purely a hypothetical observation here but consulting the chart and matching OSL’s major movements down with corresponding events over the last 18 or so months. These being the Ce misstep of early 2019 and the covid market bear a year later.
Concerning the former the sp rebounded to on par levels when it worked out nothing had changed five or so months later after the humongous sell off. The latter has the market slowly clawing back losses as the world gears towards overcoming the virus.
If say there was no CE ‘rejection’ and things just tracked along as per normal to April 2020 to actual ce gain and if the world was not hit by a one in a hundred year pandemic then OSL’s chart looks very different. In fact the three year cup that we would have had would, imo, got plenty excited as displayed in this roughly altered representation.
