Read between the lines here. Sino are being forced to get involved with MMX/OPR. Thats if they want a good slice of the mid west pie.
He also says it is inevitable there will be Chinese involvement of some sort.
''"Somehow China needs to be brought into the tent on this project," he says. "I am hopeful that once the development agreement is finalised with OPR, that will open the door ... I am keen to see some Chinese involvement, however that comes about.
"I have expressed that both to OPR and to Mitsubishi in Tokyo two weeks ago."
Presumably, OPR will get that very clear message, which may also reduce some of the current tension around Sinosteel's intentions with Murchison Metals.''
