The Imec group is a creature of the European Commission so I would expect that any question of patent violation will not be an issue however the following article tells me that they are not using AKIDA IP, they are analog not digital and they are an accelerator not a processor.
Except that my computer is locking me out doing updates I would post the whole article but I highly recommend the following. It will confirm the above while eloquently explaining why AKIDA technology will dominate.
