I just watched a YouTube post about Dr Marco, from PingAn. He is part of VC arm in PingAn. The post gives a clear understanding of culture, healthcare systems and price points in China.
Technology space is well received there, however, would need a lot of credibility for any technology to be accepted. I think this where Tony, CEO ResApp, is trying to build- credibility and gold standard product.
If you actually listen to Dr Marco’s interview, he does stress on trust part. Chinese residents do not easily trust the lower healthcare system and most cases rush to AAA hospitals and line up for more than 7 hours to see a specialist, even though that Job can addressed by a Local Gp.
