Rather than let AGL make a foray into broadband, would it not be better for TLS to put its badly received break up on hold and launch its bid for AGL while AGL was still at a cheap SP?
If AGL was able to get a foothold in broadband, this would be wasted at TLS expense while TLS suffers from it multi-Million AUD losses In the FoxTel JV with the embattled News Corp, the poor reception of the split up that might not even be accepted by the sholders unconvinced of its value, not to mention Penn.
It would be better to launch a bid for AGL before AGL utilized its energy retail position to launch into broadband and telephony?
