NTA is just a "value" indicator which does not mean it is 100% accurate. At the end of the day the company worth what the market is willing to pay for it. Technically, the NTA helps as guidance, especially for lending covenants calculations which are based on risk analysis formulas. The real value of the company is given by free cash flow, NTA, perception, growth, history and many other factors. It is great having the NTA as a reference, but neither of us is lending money, we’re all “investing” or “gambling” whatever we want to call it, and just talking about NTA is not enough to support analysis. $1 NTA with sp 20c, what does it mean? It means NOTHING!!!! At least it means nothing in the overnight timeframe for day-traders or the 3 months window for long-day-traders...I don’t give a s... about sp, of course I’d love to be higher but I’m holding for the next 5 years and probably I would like to hold more, but is not going to change MY perception about the company value and potential. NTA could perfectly be $1 and sp $3...what would that mean? Exactly the same than now!
