Westcott, this too is one side of the fence to look at opposing klobs and others view (which is completely valid and i aim to try and obtain information via phone convo tmrw), my question to your opinion which is valid as well would be if that is the case then why wouldnt the announcement state that the cash would be used for further drilling in order to build profitable resources when the markets turn? IMO there is no breach of any ASIC, ASX, corp act clause?

The other factor that is somewhat doubting my mind is the downturn in SP and that the market is not liking what is happening. Sure, there will be instos etc trying to drag prices down but surely if this wasnt the case SDL should be trading at a premium considering what is 'about' to happen.

Either way, im hoping the long term size and operations of the potential area will uphold and that pure supply and demand 'invisible hand' markets would uphold and that the world economy needs this ore and hence funding is assured.
