    %2.6m plus costs is an extreme amount of money in anyone's language - are you of the opinion that she and her family had no degree of culpability? Are you aware that she wasn't reported missing for 3 months, that she pretended to be a German tourist, that she refused to speak English, was initially under the jurisdiction of the Qld officials, had never taken out Australian citizenship, was on no records?

    You had to be a very switched on official to pick up on her real circumstances - probably a mind reader would have been valuable.

    She needs care and attention - she's one sick lady - but where does it say she needs $2.6m to live on and her family are out of the equation?
