Cloud - my point is that the payment was over the top. I have compassion for her - put her on a disability pension, an annual payment whatever, give her medical support, look after her through the existing systems. To give her $2.6m that will still be $2.6m the day she dies after she's lived off 100 grand a year is just excessive.
Plus I do believe that it's not a simple as you and others put it - where was her family when she was wandering around Qld for 3 months? Nobody was ever looking for her - what are we - mind readers?
ps - ever been in a "concentration camp" - don't insult those who have (I haven't)
