I heard an interesting interview with a QLD state primary school (I think it was) headmistress (Lyn ?) who started the school teaching philosophy.

This school was situated in a low socio economic area and there were only 40 odd students when she started.

Now, it is a school with over 200 students. Can't fit more as they dont have the room and so they turn away students.

Kids are listened too. They are teaching the kids to think for themelves. People around Aust. and the world lookng at the way the school is run.

Kids talk about things in the playground and so there is less violence.

An inspiring model.
