It may or may not be related, but since COVID started the company has made more progress towards clinical trials than it had in several years (I've been a holder for 3 years).
The purpose of trials is to prove efficacy and safety. Even if COVID is resolved by the availability of effective vaccines in huge volumes in the next few months, any progress RECCE has made in proving safety should help accelerate the trial process for use combatting any other virus or bacteria. The progress in topical treatment, which should have a simpler regulatory approval path than for treatments delivered orally or via injection, is also very promising. Not to mention the value of working with organisations such as CSIRO, the Doherty Institute and the Fiona Stanley Burns unit.
I think RECCE's success or failure has little to do with COVID in the longer term. Its potential significance is way more that that.
