Some random thoughts based on known facts for anyone who is worried that some EAP customers will not sign up to buy the IP or the AKD1000:

    1. At least two EAP customers one of which at least was in the automotive industry in Europe have been engaged with Brainchip since 2018 and as a result of the engagement they provided feed back which led Brainchip going back to the drawing board and redesigning AKIDA to address their concerns and this redesign was considered so important as to delay the introduction by close to 12 months.

    2. Two EAP customers in the automotive industry FORD and VALEO have signed on since these modifications/adjustments/redesigns of AKIDA to pay Brainchip for its engineering assistance.

    3. The CEO in one presentation to shareholders after announcing FORD and VALEO used the term "Proof of Concept" customers when speaking about potential IP sales to Early Access Customers. Go and look up "Proof of Concept" it has a specific meaning which takes these types of customers to a much more advanced position in the process with Brainchip than other customers. These types of customers have early access and input into the design they want to be produced.

    4. The CEO made in his presentation announcing the completion of validation very strongly the point about how important having silicon in hand was going to be to EAP customers - did not use the term "Proof of Concept" again - but his excitement was evident.

    5. We know from Anil Mankar's presentation and Tech Laden's post that AKD1000 is everything and more that it was designed to be.

Remember the following "Avantage 6: using far less neurons for image-based processing. For example: We did odor classification with a fraction of the neural fabric one Akida chip. Intel did similar odor classification with a system containing 80 chips. IBM did gesture recognition using 97% of the neurons in TrueNorth, we did the same gesture recognition, using the same data set and accuracy, using only 6% of our Akida processor neural fabric ( leaving 94% available for other tasks)."

Thus we have the situation where Brainchip had early input from someone in the automotive industry that had been given access to the Akida Development Environment and this someone provided feedback about something that needed to be done with the design so it would be best suited to their purpose.

Brainchip responded and in accordance with that input has produced the AKIDA technology product which has performed to specification and then some and has signed up with two Tier 1 players in the automotive industry Ford and Valeo who are paying money for the privilege and Brainchip is hiring high quality engineering sales support staff and have promised first commercial deals for early 2021 possibly late 2020.

Unless you are an incurable pessimist how can you doubt that a least one major commercial customer is going to sign up and start the Brainchip snowball rolling.

Once again this is the opinion of an anonymous poster on HC so go and check all of the above facts and any others you wish and form your own opinion.

My colours are firmly nailed to the mast AKIDA Ballista 2021.
