stop loss ain’t gonna make a lick of difference after a negative trading halt announcement.
if the stock gaps down past your stop loss range u r left holding the baby and selling into a falling market at market price that you have to trigger.
A stop loss is all well and good under normal trading scenarios but for small caps after big news not so much.
