hmmm - I probably agree ------- we are not prepared for the change which we knew was coming ----- we can change - but, we take time to adjust - and, our 'governments' basically have done NOTHING to prepare us at all.
Basically IMO - we should have had something like compulsory philosophy in schools - starting very early in primary school and progressing all the way through including being a compulsory subject in all tertiary areas - probably sociology as well --
people - humans - we need to know who we are, what we do and have done and how to think----------- because, that's what we need to be able to adapt well - instead of all the hand wringing and the weakness of character and lostness (pretty sure that's a legit word) that we see in things like lockdowns in pandemics -
the minds are unprepared -------------- one look at social media tells us that.
