I agree with you, but the reality is the Government does not read your postings on this website. The majority of the public seem to hate Telstra domination, and many are voicing their opinion very loud and clear in the media. The Government is just being the Government, it listens to the majority. Yes, TLS is clearly undervalued, but it is hard to see how the things might turn around any time soon.
I am sure the Government has already made its decision on the NBN, it just needs some time to ensure that what ever is said can not be subject to any litigations from Telstra.
I wonder if some sort of a class action from the Telstra shareholders is possible.
