This is a post for the China 'true believers' - and food for thought for others (including for Harvett re his MPS posts last week).


Why were the field trials reduced in number from 20,000 to 5,000 following the unfortunate QC issue a few months ago (which required the commencement of the trials to be delayed to late February)?

Answer: So that the trials can still be completed by the end of March.

But why is it so important to complete the field trials by the end of March?

SBN’s recent update Dian’t tell us why. It merely said that final approvals were still expected by June-July. That’s all.

I can now tell you why.

It’s simply to ensure that the approvals process accords with MPS’ annual budgeting and purchasing timetables – and these are tightly scheduled."
