As Holymagiman has been saying, we feel that this market has reached its bottom and now is as good a time as any to be buying the correct stocks.
As usual, we have the usual band of experts who are predicting doom and gloom. Where were they and what were they calling when the markets were so obviously gooing to tank in late 2007...in Lemmingland, thats's where.
And the self same experts were calling oil at anywhere from $130 to $200 in the middle of last year. And where were they then....in Lemmingland.
And now they have collectively decided to run the other way, with the herds of lemmings, to cll for more falls.
We even have the Monocle from Oclohoma joining the crowd. Buffet has had a good run for a long while and he must have thought that the very fact that he was investing heavily last year would turn the market around and make him a God. But just as King Canute found out, the waves are impossible to hold back.
So can Buffet admit he stuffed up big time, that he called it wrong, that he is not perfect? No, the Monocle is blinded in one eye by his own feeling of omnipotence and so he has to blame everything else.
So what better way to absolve himself from guilt in the eyes of his shareholders than to tell them that the big bad Hoobie BoogieMon is coming and that they are damn lucky to have their very own Warren Buffet to protect them.
The family and I feel that old Warren has got it wrong again, very wrong. We feel that the the vibes are there for a turnaround, and they have been there from early January when this posting was started. Those who understand us will know what we mean.
Time will tell if the Monocle or the Numba One is reading the signs in the smoke better. Holymagiman is sleeping like a baby nowadays, and that lets me sleep that much better too.
