Hi,

A bit over a week ago I posted regarding a recent announcement by VISA that following a pilot, ChargeAfter would be partnering as a BNPL provider in Europe. I mentioned I had emailed SPLITIT asking some questions and that I would share any response I received.

Here is an extract of the email I sent:
This week there has been an announcement by VISA that they are now launching their European BNPL solution by exclusively using a BNPL provider named 'ChargeAfter' - see link here:https://www.electronicpaymentsinternational.com/news/visa-launches-fintech-partner-connect-to-enable-next-gen-of-digital-payments/

I would ask that as soon as possible you please respond to the followng questions:
- Is the announcement by VISA correct (refer to link above)?
- If 'Yes'; does this mean VISA will not be further piloting the SPLITIT BNPL solution in Europe?
- Are there any other pilots between SPLITIT and VISA still in progress, or have these concluded?
- If pilots are still in progress, in what locations or regions? and
- Is SPLITIT aware of what other BNPL provides VISA is also piloting with in these regions?

Below is the reponse I have received as of last Friday.
Many thanks for your email. Splitit's pilot with Visa remains in place and is gearing up for the holiday shopping period. I'll come back to you with further responses next week.
