What I can’t understand is why none of the Pommie SAS haven’t had a conviction.....maybe their politicians are prepared to exonerate them instead off throwing them under the bus.
There will always be a few bad apples in any Military or Police force.
How do u train someone to overcome the hesitation in ur first face to face kill? That hesitation could cost a colleagues life!
I believe that previously the SAS had designed a training setup to reduce this hesitation, until a member was killed from a bullet wound!
Articles mention that a Russian Spetsnaz recruit is locked in a room with a rabid dog, the floor is covered in blood, the recruit is armed with an item that acts as a shovel and axe...u aren’t give a choice as the dog is trained to kill u.
There also rumours that previous recruits had to kill a prisoner with their bare hand.. Sounds like the Gladiators days.
