There also has to be a reason to decline it. They can’t just say no. That is litigation time. Governments don’t like exposing themselves like that, especially Ministers who would effectively put their careers on the line by doing so.
I agree the downtrend is not great viewing. I am relatively late to this, so have topped into the red. But this is too big a play to panic.
