The dog is a garbage animal. It feeds on litter and carrion. Among the most famous corpses that the dogs ate was the corpse of the wicked queen Isabelle, the queen of Israel, as predicted by Elijah the Prophet, as punishment for her killing Naboth Al-Zali met (1 Kings 21).
