They have no choice as I understand it - due to Merchant fund’s covenants. The fund has a set ceiling of ~ $100 million value I think .
It always was said that there would have to be some sold by the $2 zone , although they are supportive and bullish for the future .
However , what has been terrific is how they also have recommended and promoted RAC to others , good investors who have bought RAC shares for the longterm to share in the journey .
I guess we will also be only now seeing new longterm investors come aboard , with general awareness emerging as well .
All win : win in my view.
RAC is not a trading stock .
It is a Hold for the next few years , and the shares are very tightly held . Sell them, and you can never easily buy them back .
