this is what they quote:

"Consolidation will deliver an enhanced capital structure and make an investment in the Company more appealing to sophisticated investors and institutions, locally and internationally. This is important step in achieving our objective of introducing cornerstone investors to the Company"



I see there point but times have changed, unless they have someone lined up that will support the stock immediately then this consolidation should not go ahead, as you said companies usually consolidate when they want to raise cash, WMT has plenty of cash & should just focus on advancing the assets & look at consolidation once WMT is at much higher prices.

Ill be voting against it, WMT holders have been through enough pain, dont need this consolidation.
