By the way, the example you showed was an extreme anomaly. Someone apparently briefly placed an asking price on a call option that gave the buyer a breakeven point below the current share price. This was probably someone who desperately needed to sell and was forced to go that low to get a buyer. This sometimes happens in the very thinly traded low strikes. There were only 4 of the December $10 contracts traded on November 24, and one did indeed go for just $6 when the share price was well above $16.
I also occasionally see an asking price well below a reasonable market price when someone is probably trying to manipulate prices.... again, meso options are so thinly traded, they usually have huge bid-ask spreads and seem like they would be quite vulnerable to manipulation. The market makers must be making a fortune exploiting these wide spreads.
