Agree again @Scottj15. I bought the majority of my holding 18mths to 2 years ago. Tests your nerves to hold when progress is made fundamentally but the share price doesn't move.... then when COVID hits your mind starts playing tricks....and then when we finally take off and start heading north to 30c only to fall back to 13c then it's another rollercoaster of emotion. And then you see other stocks you follow move on minimal news your mind starts wondering again....
That's investing, particularly when you have quite a bit of skin in the game.
But I haven't sold any through that period and bought a couple more along the way. Some traders will think that's not a good strategy and looking at historical SP movement, of course, you can look back and beat yourself up on a bad day about why you didn't sell at 30c as you could have increased your holding in the teens. Could I sell a chunk of mine and take a punt that I can get those shares back, possibly, but I didn't want to take the risk as the long term gains are going to be too big so I'm happy to sit.
It's a tight capital structure we can move north quickly and traders can play the buy and sell side like a fiddle.
As @asculpeous there's all sorts of trading strategies used these days particularly right before big news.

Having said all the above I'm convinced the 'hints are all there we are so close
    '
    - Roly saying it's highly unlikely the JV won't go ahead. (That's as close as you will get to an MD say it's definitely going ahead).
    - Deal done on NPV not current SP. (Current NPV in AUD over 700 million with big improvements to this being worked on. Market cap nowhere near reflects a JV being negotiated at this level and that is without factoring in anything else they are working on)
    - Market-leading European partner about to say let's go to the next stage. (2 weeks tomorrow since Roly said we will have more in this, in two weeks)
    - Alcoa see a plant for a HPA strategy at 8,000tpa very small in the bigger picture (100% confirmation there's a much bigger strategy bubbling away)
    - Re Alcoa, 1+1=3 as Roly said, refer above
    - Roly saying in the interview posted yesterday - "We just want to be number 1". Roly is conservative and that is by far the most confident he has spoken and was so relaxed about it. Not trying to overcomplicate it during the interview, he knows it's all about to change dramatically.

    It's so obvious.

Watching every trade go through both good and bad is the definition of insanity if you believe and are holding to the Alcoa JV and beyond.
If you are a trader, by all means, go for it that's all above my pay grade I didn't realise there was a gap at 22c as someone eluded to yesterday. Probably naive of me, but my position is now full, I'm waiting until the Alcoa JV unfolds so meh.

As I've said, fundamentals have never been stronger.

I had actually forgotten about the results from our last pilot run, add those in. No doubt it's been a few weeks now and they could be in any day but I'm sure with COVID and sending to the US they will come soon. Will be interesting, the grade should be good but I'm more excited by the other Battery EV applications we should hear more about there too.
