it is silly & naive to think that a successful business is one in which the employees have equal say to the employer, "democracy" as you put it.
who would be stupid enough to start a business by mortgaging their home to turn up to work & be outvoted by his/her staff?!
a successful business is NOT a democracy, you turn up & work to the team plan which is set out by your employer. if you can't do that then you're out.
