For those interested, I queried whether the change in CEO would change the arbitrary $3m materiality threshold. In brief, the answer is no.

"I note your comments, but there are no plans to lower the materiality threshold for ASX releases.

The only exception is where the board believes the announcement is of strategic importance. An example of a strategically important release includes, the announcement of product sales to Three Gorges Group (~$70k) and to Beijing China Rail (~$126k). While small in quantum these transactions with national players are significant from a strategic perspective and relevant to share with the market."
