I'm not sure why Pascoe needed to throw in "gun control" in the mix. The article is about "monetary policy" ?.....feels like he is trying to bolster his argument by referencing other unrelated undesirable aspects of the American system.....Does he think adopting US style monetary policy will also lead to out of control gun ownership in Australia?

He's spot on about the effect of inflating asset prices...anyone who owns a house, a business, a farm, an office, a shop, shares, will benefit from this indeed,
and anyone who relies purely on a cash deposit or government transfer payments, welfare, will not do anywhere nearly as well.

The other point I agree with him is on Labour policy....we need to stay away from US style labour system....the UBERs of the world need to be regulated, Weekend pay rates need to stay as is.
We also need to look at taxing sugar, fast junk food. I believe the Europeans have the lead on this. Where is the ALP on this?!?

they key is every dollar you earn make it count.....and you don't do that by consuming rubbish.....
