I liked the "shorter’s bugger off" this is the main issue we have right now, I also liked "Brad is managing his costs wisely unlike some other BNPL players who are hiring like crazy", the main reason all the other BNPL are hiring like crazy is because of the bad debt, if 1 out of 6 is not paying you can do the math how many calls it's per day that APT and other needs to do in order to run after those who are not paying the loan back, I know as a fact that in 2018 APT had around 400 call center representatives to support this issue, I am sure they have now few thousands.
SPT can stay lean, recruit the necessary employees to keep the growth up, and use most of the money on marketing to create more brand awareness globally (another advantage on other players)
