If it is the case that it's a straight copy (and I don't know if it is or not),
then yes, its a bit cheeky, but I think it would be a bit of a stretch
to say that the reputational damage would be huge. It's just a cheap dongle.
There are countless examples of branded hardware items being sold
at a premium to unbranded ones, where they are otherwise identical.
