This is what they are making, Step 1: NMC622 cathode material which includes graphite. Step 2: This cathode material will then be made into cells for testing. Two complex processes, IMO will take like they said a minimum of 4 months, plus testing on top of that.
Lake are using Novonix to perform testing only, once Lake gets the tick of approval it can then look for offtakers.
4 months or 6 makes no difference if we get the tick of approval.
