The online component of government lotteries is still in its infancy. Here in Australia we are far ahead of the curve (28% of ticket sales are online) compared to overseas (less than 10%). One positive to come out of COVID is that it has exposed the flaw of not having an online component with many charities/lotteries having to temporarily shutdown because tickets could not be sold through newsagents etc. as people were in repeated lockdowns.
The next two years I predict we are going to see large growth in the rush to open online sales channels and Jumbo is perfectly positioned to ride this wave. The era of Jumbo is well and truly just getting started.
