The SP doesn’t adjust to suit the SOI and MC. The SP is just what someone is prepared to pay given the SOI and MC.
I wouldn’t spend a lot of time on it really, in IMU’s case the trifecta of SP, SOI and MC are not the set of numbers you wish your favourite company had. Although the SP is nice now.
