that person worked in the regional media business as i recall.
if there is ONE thing that I really like about mmg it is the management of that busiess. rhys holleran is an absolute star who took the RG Capital radio business from nothing to be the most profitable (margin wise) radio business in the world.
He then successfully integrated RG Capital Radio with DMG Regional radio in a fashion that saw huge profit uplift and made a fortune for Macquarie.
If there is one aspect that is crap it is MMG management at a macquarie level - dorney particularly is not a media ceo on conventional measures.
i think that you need more data points before you cast judgment on asset level management.
