Why on earth would you want to charge him for this particular offence. Nobody was harmed by it
The person that would be most harmed by this is the Sheik himself. News reports , court appearances possible conviction. What a great opportunity for the police. They now have the trump card.
A petty incident, but with so much at stake for the Sheik ONLY.
Police have a bit of a chat with the Sheik ... show some good will ... do a bit of arm twisting / negotiating .... Police get to call in a BIG favour from the Sheik when the police need it.
Favour could be used to catch someone very important to the police or to get the Sheik to twist someone else's arm for the police.
Sheik does a job or two for the police.
Why arrest him?
