for us it not so much about the EV, all major car makers are headed that way and also startups... but if they committed to the improved lithium batteries... solid state in a couple of years- but they still use lithium.?
last week i read that GM Tesla and others out of Germany and Chinese have committed to lithium, not to say they can't change their minds if a switch to something else come along that might be more compelling ,as the boom time is really in 3 years.
Toyota, japapnese, like the above have all been experimenting with other technology that doesn't depend on lithium. particularly out of Japan, keeping things under rap. there are hints at a totally magnetic motor among other things.
but happy in the belief that out an out of Europe a deal will come soon- as they commnitt further to lithium -and of course getting our high grade stuff.
CXO attempts to increase out asset of finnis is part of a plan to show sustainbility in a garanetter resourse, comfirming a solid supply chain for over a decade.
