They were simply expressing their views.
That is the philosophy behind any forum.
Besides, show me ANYONE who is consistently correct in this business ... it is a matter of weighing all the evidence that you have in front of you, & then drawing a conclusion.
It is commonly held that if you are correct in (only) 60% of the decisions that you make then you are doing well.
