LeCunn nailed his colours to the mast with respect to Davies & Intel's approach to deep learning neuromorphic computing. In the process without examining the difference in approach by Peter van der Made he lumped Brainchip and SNN in with Davies.

Davies approach is still labouring to find its way and LeCunn remains wedded to his original theory which actually suits me as it has given Brainchip one almighty head start and as it has turned out to get across the finishing line before anyone else realises they need to compete with Peter van der Made and team.

I mentioned the episode with my son setting me a series of questions about why AKIDA technology had validity and telling you that these questions had been provided to him by a techie friend of his in the UK. I have subsequently learned that the cynical view being suggested by the techie friends questions arose from his being a LeCunn convert. LeCunn needs to be sent a thank you card and a fruit basket after Brainchip announces its first commercial deal as he has been in part responsible for Brainchip being so successfully overlooked.
