    You say you have 6 months experience in investing, perhaps it is best still to be taking on advice not giving it yet. If I had the choice between identifying undervalued situations & charts, then I would pick value over historic pictures any day.
    Just for you information even Warren Buffett as a kid started out using charts, guess he just outgrew them when he discovered value.
