I would respond (after this latest issue) by saying that at least here in Australia we have the ability to investigate, condemn, respond, and charge our own soldiers in a transparent way when we have evidence that they've done horrible things like those SAS soldier in Afghanistan. We are transparent about what happened even though we understand it will be widely condemned by other nations and make us look like a bunch of pricks, but we know that those who do such things must be held accountable.

China would never do this and would simply cover it up.
