Hi 59buckby
Well yes on one hand I do agree with the company in its growth phase, that information isn't always crystal clear in terms of when cash will roll in from the on seller agreement with VISA. I don't however think it is unreasonable for us 'amateur investors' to be given some growth guidance and timelines that they are working towards. I am a part owner in a company where I don't know what I am holding the people that work for me accountable to. Surely they have created some modelling around where they would like to be in 3-6-12 months time, what kind of uptake they would like to see % wise from the VISA deal. The new opt out strategy (was it OCBC or BNZ I can't remember) that should have some projected revenue attached etc etc.
They are being very cautious about over promising and under delivering, I get that. The CR has been done so they don't have to come out hat in hand after failing to achieve some milestones and ask for money from their share holders so why not inform the market about thier performance goals? For the company short term share price fluctuations are largely irrelevant as they have a long term outlook for the company, but for those of us who have a decent wad of cash invested in this some guidance would be appreciated. Investor relations in speculative stocks can be hit and miss and I have been involved in my fair share where no news was good news but I have also been burned on lack of information leading to ultimate failings (IAM).
