Sry guys I did warn u ,so benson's 'L' plate conclusion as to why EOS was allocated the massive US meo volume of spectrum/bandwidth.
As EOS said,they don't believe other meo players compete with EOSlink ? why.?.That includes the meo US GPS constellation.ie why not just allocate the US GPS constellation the spectrum.?
So we come to the EOS 3 only satellites (plus one spare) ,6 earth stations and 2 control centres.So far I have not read of any material constellation with 3 only satellites.(lets include boeing developing the new satellite for launch in 2024.

EOS mentioned the importance of security many times,my guess is providing security for 3 modern satellites is a lot easier than protecting the thousands of leo satellites and even the the who knows 100 plus meo satellites.from whatever threat whether missile/electronic.
Then EOS makes the comment about the amount of data (bandwidth) just one fighter must upload thru flight until back on ground thru leo/meo then back to earth stations..
The US GPS constellation I guess is used to guide a missile ie I guess not much data/bandwidth required and a short period of connectivity required.

A heavy lifting (massive bandwidth) high security military constellation is required.ie EOSlink.
So in my 'L' plate opinion EOSlink constellation is designed for the heavy lifting of massive amounts of data on call hence general bandwidth estimates by EOS are low but the customers (so far 50) must pay whether they use their bandwidth allocation or not.Because if many fighters have to take to the sky at once plus the other satellite developments requiring massive bandwidth secure data satellite connectivity then EOS constellation will ,as EOS said,they need to have that bandwidth in reserve ready as required.
