OK Health Warning. If anyone is going to get their knickers in a knot if I mention the planets and the moon, then just don't read this posting.

At this stage the market has turned perfectly on its date - actually as mentioned the other day my turn straddled the 18th/19th and the S&P made its first high on 18th and went back on 19th and just pipped it by a fraction. Now it all gets harder. As also mentioned the other day I have a lot of activity coming up. I suspect that this probably means that we are going to go through about ten days or so of correction or will it be a case of one day it looks like the market is going to rally higher only to turn around the next and look like it wants to go lower. Have to wait for the market to tell me. Just know that I am going to be expecting the unexpected.

New moon on 26th and then the Sun, Venus and Mercury get into a huddle on 28th/29th. As Venus has been so important in this latest rise, it is interesting that this conjuction with the Sun and Mercury occurs at roughly the half way mark of its period of retrograde. Last time it went down for half the period and then up for the final half. Will it alternate this time. And before all the knockers say what use is that sort of comment - can I just explain that looking at the planets must be combined with very serious technical analysis so that as one enters these periods of interest, the idea is to then switch back to see what the actual market is saying.

Trying to look at the slightly bigger picture - the rise of the past fortnight does look impulsive. If that proves to be the case, then it would mark 6th March as the bottom of the first leg of the bear market. Unfortunately this looks like an argument that is ongoing until we get greater proof.

Now I will go and hide again!!
