Abbott's road to ruin has everything to do with the tragic, inhumane and indefinite incarceration the Coalition imposed on asylum seekers - it represented Australia's descent into becoming a heartless, rogue nation that turns its back on vulnerable people while imposing the greatest censorship regime around what's happening to them in our history. that after participating in illegal warmongering throughout the Middle East that caused the lions share of 'asylum seeker issues'.

Recent revelations about Morrison's efforts to cover up, to downplay the significance of and to very heavily redact the details of war crimes in Afghanistan demonstrates that he's still driving Australia down Abbott's dark road.
