Why would he be concerned? This CR will i assume be for working capital, or to pay back debt that was used to pay for working capital. What is the largest component normally of working capital? Wages.
His main concern would be not having enough (lets be nice and say working capital). If you think Directors in general care about shareholders then i believe you are sadly mistaken.
