I doubt it. Generally companies like to get as much in the door as possible and scale back as needed if the SPP is "in the money" as this one is. Generally, that is the best way to support the share price on market, increasing demand for shares.
Still, the SPP update document served as a warning that it might close early, so get those offers in.
It's a pretty attractive offer if share price holds - about a 50% plus gain on whatever you get allocated.
My tip - it will close on time, be substantially oversubscribed and scaled back accordingly.
