Not sure what you're on about, but my response was in regards to selling at a loss statement and how anyone can know if it is a loss, unless they know what the original purchase price was.
If shares were purchased (for example) at $2, $4, or any figure you choose, and they are then sold at any figure above, it's not a loss.
