Interestingly esketamine, (ketamine) now with approval in the US as well as the UK and Europe, seems to show the psychedelic door is well and truly opening for this member of the mind altering family.
'Spravato' ( product branded esketamine deveoped by Janssen Pharmaceutica in 2019) received FDA & EMA approval for use.
Ketamine is arguably the most rigorously studied psychedelic substance backed by many multiple clinical studies since the 1980s' and widely believed to be one of the most effective agents against treatment resistive depression.
'Spravato' could potentially return the company (Janssen Pharmaceutica) hundreds of millions of dollars through this treatment pathway alone.
