Yes there are other companies working on direct extraction but only 2 others that I can think of are at the stage Lilac is at and LKE has a regional exclusivity agreement with Lilac. I don't think that anyone has direct extraction working at a commercial scale once someone does then I think that the days of evaporation ponds are numbered. Lilac have been working on this for several years anyone starting from scratch will be years behind.
