there is no doubt that allies with US and others are important to Australia safety. however, these allies should not build on sacrificing Australia's economy, which largely depends on the trade with China. when China bans Australia commodities, who benefit most? the US (Agri products, beef), France (wine) and others (Indo - coal, Brazil - agri products, iron ore, etc). hope Australians can wake up and understand its international position. the current government is too short-sighted and many Australians if not most are too biased towards China because of being influenced by school education, politicians, media,etc.
